Hi, I'm Mario.
I have never been very good at answering the question “what do you do?”. Making things has always felt more natural than defining myself.
I am very curious: I am drawn to things with depth, things you can keep digging into and still find another layer. I get bored easily, true, but maybe that is also why I end up moving through very different worlds and constantly looking for connections.
Bonsai, specialty coffee, Japan, photography, motorcycles, technology, artificial intelligence, modern art, pop art, even well-made stationery. Written like that it looks random, but to me it is not. I keep finding the same elements: care, structure, research, balance, details that most people miss.
Building, experimenting, understanding how things work and, when possible, making them a little better: that is what really keeps me interested. Sometimes it becomes a digital project, sometimes a site made almost for fun, sometimes a small experiment with a hidden detail.
I am not very interested in appearing. I am more interested in making things properly. I have always admired people who build backstage, who leave traces without needing to put their name in large type.
This place was born a bit like that. Not as a showcase, more as a place to collect things that make me curious, projects I enjoyed, ideas worth chasing.
Below the cut is the part most bios try to clean up: side obsessions, unlikely connections, details maybe three people will notice, and that is fine too.
The logic is simple: if something is not needed, remove it; if it slows things down, optimize it; if it is complex, reduce it; if it exists only as decoration, maybe it should not have been there in the first place.
This site is built the same way, with little text, high density, free navigation and a few hidden details.
It is not for everyone.
And that is fine.
